Dear Friends, The virtual journal that you are reading is just one of the many ways that the ongoing pandemic has changed our world and altered the manner in which we interact with each other. This year marks our fifteenth anniversary of uniting members of the law enforcement community in a celebration of public service. This fundraising drive marks a decade and a half of bringing people together, from around the globe, in pursuit of a world without cancer. Most importantly, it counts years of progress and advancements in the field of research that our generous donors have sustained. Long before the current global epidemic, we realized that disease respects no national border. Long before the outbreak we are experiencing, we realized that collaboration between people of goodwill with the world’s finest scientific minds, is the best way to combat sickness. These trying times only strengthen our resolve to further transmit this philosophy.
As the year closes, we salute all the individuals and organizations that made it possible for us to carry on during this tumultuous time. More importantly, we wish them a 2022 filled with wealth, happiness and above all, health.
Wishing You All Better Days Ahead, Edward J. Strohm Jr.
